About IPLookr

IPLookr shows your public IP address the moment you open the page, together with the approximate location, network and device details that websites can see about your connection.

You can also look up any IPv4 or IPv6 address to see which network and organisation it belongs to, the country it is used in, its reverse DNS name and whether it is public, private or reserved.

IPLookr does not log or store your IP address or the addresses you look up. The data is read, shown to you and forgotten.

How we build our tools

• Free, with no sign-up. Open the page and use the tool. There are no accounts and no paywalls.
• Private by default. Tools run in your browser wherever possible. When a server is needed, we process what is required to answer your request and do not log or store it.
• Fast and focused. One job per tool, done well, on any device.
• Funded by ads. Ads keep the tools free. They sit in clearly labelled spaces and never between a tool and its result.

Who is behind IPLookr

IPLookr is made by Codebit, a small independent studio in Copenhagen, Denmark, that builds websites and apps. IPLookr is one of a family of small, free utility sites that share the same simple design and the same privacy principles.
